Hello, I’m Candice. It’s so lovely to find you here.

After nearly a decade on the open road as a touring folk musician, my bare feet found roots here on the sweet lands of the Dhudhuroa-Waywurru people in North East Victoria in late 2019 . Without knowing it at the time, It would seem that life was calling me home to a more supportive & nourishing rhythm for my stretched little nervous system. Now, I weave my days between being a devoted solo mama, trauma-informed yoga teacher, therapeutic bodywork practitioner, embodied vocal coach, and a facilitator of circles for women and young people.

I hold a deep devotion to creating safer & braver spaces where all of us, from all walks of life, can soften more gently into ourselves through mindful movement, rhythm, sound, breath & felt connection to this profoundly intricate life - perhaps remembering what it feels like to land in the sacred house of our own bodies underneath the layers of complex and often challenging social and economic systems & circumstances.

Here, I welcome the medicine of collective community as we curiously unravel into the heart of our shared humanity.

Offerings

Hatha Yoga Classes

As we often navigate complex systems, feelings, and circumstances, step into a nurturing yoga space where all parts of our shared humanity are welcome.

All of my classes are based upon trauma-informed practice, and aim to support all bodies and abilities. Props & chairs are available, and various shape options are offered throughout our time together.

Therapeutic Bodywork

These floor-based and fully clothed Bodywork sessions combine gentle stretching, firm acupressure, rhythmic movement, and deep-listening touch to support release, connection, safety, and spaciousness throughout your body. 

Rooted in ThaiVedic traditions, Osteopathic techniques and closely aligned with Zenthai Shiatsu, this form of bodywork is a supportive ally for releasing musculoskeletal tension, calming the nervous system, and inviting in a little more ease.

1:1 Therapeutic Yoga

Integrating trauma-informed movement, breathwork, muscoloskeletal support & yogic philosophy, I offer personalised sessions designed to support physical, emotional, and nervous-system health.

These unique sessions provide a nurturing and practical framework, supporting you toward more agency, empowerment and care within your own body and mind.

Women’s Circles

A Women’s Circle is a brave, sacred facilitated space for women to gather, nourish, and witness one another.

I am currently facilitating closed Seasonal Circles (one circle per month) throughout the year. These Circles traverse community connection through sharing practices, ritual/ceremony, nature practices, gentle movement, delicious food, cacao, & creativity.

Our circles are held in the local forest (weather-permitting) on Dhudhuroa-Waywurru Country, Yackandandah, North East VIC.

First Moon Circles

A nurturing, empowering & celebratory introduction to puberty & menstrual cycle education for all young people & their caregivers. Suitable for ages 8 - 13.

I am striving to keep these offerings as accessible as possible - please keep an eye on booking updates, with the possibility of community funding to support you and your child’s attendance.

Embodied Vocal Sessions

An empowering & playful space to explore your unique voice through, sound, simple body-based practices, connection & song.

This offering is accessible to adults, teens, and children - anyone wanting to feel more at home in their voice & vocal expression!

Term 2 sessions outside of school hours are currently full, but please reach out if you or your child are interested in joining the waitlist or exploring an alternative time slot that might work for your family.
